Investing in your home is a big decision. Lets answer some questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Renovation or Remodel

We focus on renovation because  there is no need for permits. Technically remodeling includes changing the structure of the home. I can change a window for a new one but I can not cut a hole in an exterior wall.

Do I need a permit?

Sometimes. After looking at the project I can advise you if you need a permit. I have a plumbing, HVAC and an electrical company I use for permitted trade work. Other permits can be pulled in the owners name.

Do we have to leave the home?

In most cases no. Even when remodeling bathrooms I have been able to keep access to a toilet at night. I use plastic walls and plastic masking to separate the work from the rest of the home.

Information about flow

What is the schedule to finish my project?

Once you contact me we will set a time to view the site and measure the job. At that meeting we will discuss start date and duration of your project.

I generally like to work from 8 to 5 on weekdays but am flexible for your schedule.

How do you schedule payments?

Most of my clients purchase their materials directly so I do not take a deposit until the end of the first day. Small projects I request half on the first day and the final when I finish. Projects where my labor and supplies are over $5000 I brake the invoice into 3 or more payments tied to stages of completion.
